After school care

West Side Family Center offers a variety of after school activities for pre-K through 5th grade students. Children are encouraged to explore their creative interests and play with friends in a relaxed, comfortable environment.

• Children’s theater and puppetry with Karen Thibodeau
• Arts, crafts and games
• Dramatic play
• Outdoor play in the backyard and playground
• Tutoring (by arrangement)

Convenient. The Center offers care from school dismissal till 6 pm every afternoon Monday through Friday. We pick up kids from several neighborhood schools, including PS 84 and PS 166. We are open for extended days on many school holidays.
Flexible. Whatever your family schedule—whether you just need a few hours of care on an occasional basis, or extended care on a daily basis—we will work with you to design a program that is right for your child.
